Earlier this week there was a murder in the town of Ipswich where I use to live- the first since 1975! The victim was 62- year- old Tony Woo, the owner of the Chinese restaurant The Majestic Dragon. My family and I would always go there whenever we had Chinese food and I always remember seeing him around. I wasnt a regular like some other people were, but I still could see what a nice guy he was, and I enjoyed seeing him every time we went there.
They still havent found a motive for the killing but it is said that Woo would count money late at night. To me money is the only reason someone would kill Tony- because he was loved by everyone in the area-including me who only saw him 2 times a month or so. Its horrible that people are so desperate for money that they kill- especially good people like Tony Woo. Like I said they dont know why he was killed, its just my opinion.
Ipswich is a nice farm town and is peaceful...But its also very boring and there isnt so much to do especially if you're a teenager or young adult. I lived there for about four years and the most exciting thing was construction work.Because it is so mellow this incident has really shaken up the town. I have alot of friends there and my family is living there still so it worries me. Hopefully everyone will be safe and the murderer will be caught soon.
